Les Impatients - Summer Concert - July 2, 2025

It is with great pleasure that we share this invitation to the summer concert of les Impatients, offered by singers and musicians that were happy to welcome in our space since September 2023.  The Concert will be held at Théâtre Ste-Catherine, July 2nd, at 7:15 pm, in Montreal. Enjoy the show!

On Tuesday, May 20, Méliane Laurier-Cromp, music therapist from the Institute, offered a discovery workshop to members of the Association des Neurotraumatisés de l'Outaouais (ANO). Participants, along with two counselors from the organization, were able to learn more about music therapy and experience three music therapy-inspired experiences. Their enthusiasm was contagious! We warmly thank ANO for their invitation.

May 24 2025, Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) Conference, Halifax - Suzanne Caron, President of the Institute, proudly presented the search engine and database developed by the Institute.  Many music therapist could then discover this resource made available to them, and to which they will also be able to contribute.  Thank you for your participation and interest!

It is with great enthusiasm that Suzanne Caron, the President of the Institute, will participate as a presenter, at the upcoming Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) Conference, from May 22-24 2025, in Halifax.  More than 30 workshops and presentations will be offered, a great opportunity to discover and network with the dynamic community of Canadian music therapists. 

Marie-Jeanne Beauchamp joins the team of the Institute

We are pleased to welcome Marie-Jeanne Beauchamp to the National Music Therapy Institute's team! Holder of a bachelor's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and a certified music therapist, she has been collaborating to the partnership with the Montreal Shira Choir since January 2025.
